Tsk, tsk, Gene:-) I was trying to follow up on information on
importing seed to NZ and the page someone posted somewhere on their
gov't site wasn't up yet..."under construction". I saved the page
URL anyway if you want it, let me know and I'll find it.
You are absolutely correct about NARGS...been a member for a few
years, myself and the Eastern Winter Study Weekend I attended in '99
was most memorable; marvelous speakers ( Tony Avent, Dan Hinkley,
John Grimshaw, Will McLewin to name a few). I learned a tremendous
amount and came home with some grand plants from the vendors and a
lovely pile of books. I recommend NARGS to anyone who seriously
loves plants. My PVC-NARGS chapter is hosting EWSW this Jan...some
good speakers lined up. Also enjoyed both of your articles in the
quarterly:-) I do take advantage of the exchange every year...wish I
could actually get the seeds I collect for it sent in before the
deadline just once!
