RE: More garden reading, sedums and a New England Garden TreK?

Hi Marilyn (and every one else)!

the tender sempervirens are listed separately. All others, I
>assume, are hardy.
ah but what is tender? Grin - I know that parts of my yard are more Zone
6ish and others more a Zone 4 EVEN if the map says I am a Zone 5A. I am
cautious about buying anthing that is a not sure to be hardy in Zone 5 and
sometimes I still get winter kill.

Personally, I would love to grow some of the very
>exotic, tender Agaves - But! I don't have room for anything else that needs
>winter protection. My basement, bedroom light garden & greenhouse are
>stuffed! :)
Except for coleus, I stopped trying to overwinter anything inside - no room
and this is the time of year to plan next years purchases and the new beds.

A final reading note - I received Alan Titchmarsh's (of BBC's Ground Force
etc) Mr Macgregor for a gift - very light and fun!
