Are you sure you got any seeds? It takes a lot of cleaning to get to the
seeds and I am sure many think the parts that need to be cleaned "away" are
the seeds.
I have given up on most of the exchanges because of this problem and the fact
than many of the times you do not get what is promised.
In my own landscape it was a very poor year for seed production, the year was
excessively wet this year from spring until late summer.
The seeds of Helenium like it warm and moist, after germination keep the
soil/medium on the moist side.
