There is such a good idea and one a serious minded gardener should try. A
holding area, a square or raised bed somewhere to put extra seedling, to grow
on seedlings to border size, to try out new plants, a dozen other uses. Rows
for cutting is another, are they hardy?, on and on.
When you come home from the nursery with some plants there is no place for,
pop them into your holding area while you think it over.
