Re: OT sort of...

Donna,
I suspect that as long as the decorations are there for reasonably (seasonably) short time, all will be well! Think of it as mulch.
Gene's right, send him out to play, but nothing that will divert aircraft!

Hello Donna,
I see you have had plenty of advice about the plants...... I want to
chime in with a word for your hubby. Why not give him a big hug and pat on
the fanny and send him out to play with your blessing? Certainly far better
than having the Grinch with you over the holidays. I think it is wonderful
he still has all that little boy inside him at this point in his life. If he
is happy, then you should be happy.. at least for him.
I offer one gold star for your hubby.

Since this list is slow, thought I would ask....

We are decorating the front yard for the holidays. We have a new raised
bed out there and DH is adding his stuff on top of my perennials! Not to
mention decorating my small and still fragile trees....

I was not concerned with the open weave lighted reindeers and such,
thought was the water, light etc could still get to the dormant
 plants...

But then he brought out the hard plastic stuff.... now my perennials are
 under them!

Is he going to kill them? His thought is it never killed the grass, so
it should be fine... I am concerned.

I might add that DH is a X-mas decorating nut case, runs in his family,
although I enjoy it, it has gotten out of hand here... anyone ever hear
of National Lampoon... we give them a run for the top billing...:)
