Hi folks,
I have a new houseplant (I assume a tropical perennial) that I love but for
which I can't find any info. The girl at the checkout counter pronounced
it a purple velvet plant, but either she is wrong or it's a branch of the
family I can't find on the web. It has a lovely blossom, a medium pink 1="
trumpet, and ovate dark green leaves with whitish veins. The white veins
also have a darker thin green line through them; a very attractive leaf.
The stems show pronounced joints without looking awkward. The plant is
about 10" high and wide now, and has been flowering freely. I'd love to
have a name so I can look up some culture notes.
I have done several searches, looked through several websites with no luck.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
A happy and blessed 2004 to all of you,
Alyce Elliott
