Chris,

So glad that Russell is able to help.
I understand your space restrictions, though I could not find the hydrangea,
unless it was the partial circle above the Joe Pye on the grid.

I'm reworking beds and paths myself right now but I'm not very exacting about
these things. If it fits, it can stay!

Kitty

Hi Kitty,

I've been designing my garden around the CBG evaluations lately, so it was
funny to me to see this again. :D

Mostly it's a height/width issue; I only have a 4' wide space and there are
taller plants around it, so I need the flowers to be about 5' in the air.

I was considering just doing E. purpureum (the straight species) because it's
narrower, but it's also extremely tall. We'd never see the Hydrangea behind
it.

I'll check with Russell and will follow up with Lurie if that doesn't work
out.

Thanks!

Chris

P.S. For giggles I've attached a PDF of that part of the garden. 'Purple
Bush' is in the top left quadrant. The dashed grid is 10'.
