For your flopping daylilies--cut the foliage back to about 2" after
flowering.  They will spring back to life within a couple of weeks and the
foliage will remain attractive for the rest of the growing season.  Use this
technique on rebloomers with care so that you don't cut back and newly
forming buds.  For varieties like Stella d'Oro, I usually hand pull the
ratty-looking foliage.  It may look a bit strange for a couple of weeks, but
it, too, will come back.

What variety of Perovskia do you have that blooms white?
