The hort oasis is NOT the self same oasis used in floriculture design.
The hort variety has larger surface to air ratio. The floriculture
oasis is designed to HOLD a large amount of water, to the exclusion of
air which cause an air bubble in vascular tissues, thus preventing water
uptake.
You really need to use the hort grade to ensure an even water to air
ratio that results in healthy root growth.
I'm not saying it WON'T work, but why stick 300 cuttings and only get 50
QUALITY cuttings, when you could stick 300 and get 300?
There really IS a difference.
