John,
You are truly a jewel among gardeners in my book. I LOVE nursery
hopping and I find a structured garden with a whole lot of the same
thing very boring. To each his own taste but mine runs to trying new
things which I feel are the spice of life. I do not take anyone's word
about plants if I really want to try them and I do find more often than
not that things that supposedly do not do well in my area actually do
better than those that are supposed to be superior performers in this
area.
If I lose a plant I particularly like and feel it was my fault instead
of the fault of the plant I will try to replace it but that does not
happen too often.
Seasons Greetings to all.
Patti in North Central Washington State where we will have a white
Christmas.
