Anelle:
Sometimes the short lived perrennials are just that but I have read in some
places that the "Blanket Flower" (gaillardia) is a short lived perennial as
well as the Shasta Daisy. I have had my Blanket Flowers for over 12 years and
the Shastas for about 6 years. I have heard that foxglove is a short lived
perennial too but my best friend is working on 7 years with her crop, so I am
not really sure what is meant by short lived either. Some publications tell
you if they are or are not considered to be short lived. If they don't I
always try to look them up in several other publications and usually and
eventually will find out what I need to know.
