I read the thread on someone growing these from seeds.  Do not attempt to
dig up these plants!  They have a very long tap root that will resent any
attempts to move it (I found out the hard way!).  When you order these from
catalogs, they will send you very small plants for this reason.  It will
take at least a year before they will become established and throw up a
bloom or two, so be patient with your seedlings -- just don't move the
plants.
