This same question came up on rec.gardens (USENET). The general consensus was
to READ THE LABEL!!! (not shouting just quoting). I don't have a bottle
around since I used all of mine in the summer, but have heard several replies
that you should wait as it really doesn't have much effect this time of year.
Of course I imagine it depends on what zone you are in too. I did learn that
there is very little waiting time before replanting so conceivably you could
wait until spring, kill the weeds and in about a week plant the good stuff.
