RE:HERONSWOOD 1999-2000 CATALOG

I talked with Heronswood yesterday and told them about my pervious
post. They stated their will be up to 30 essays in the year 2000
catalog and they are NOT PUTTING THE ESSAYS ON THE INTERNET. Seems
fair to me. If they have Penelope Hobhouse and Rosemary Verey providing
essays, I really find this will be a Keeper of a catalog. Don't forget
to call now to get your 1999-2000 catalog for 5USD versus 8USD in a few
weeks. If you have ordered from them in the past(I think there are
some type of time frame?) you will get a 1999 catalog through normal
distribution. If you order in 1999....like I need to order
something....Then you will get the 2000 catalog for free.

You should go a read the catalog online and I bet you will find the
Dan's writing very entertaining. This is another reason why Heronswood
catalog is sought after by gardeners.

Don't forget, I don't work for the Heronswood and I am not getting paid
for this post.

If you really are into perennial gardening, this is a mandatory
catalog. Hey, even Martha Stewart, buys her plants here. I could tell
you a story....but I can't.

A hardcopy catalog can be purchased for $5 USD by calling or sending a
fax to Heronswood Nursery: Ph: 360-297-4172; Fax: 360-297-8321. VISA or
MASTERCHARGE is accepted

Tell them that Duncan sent you. Per my last post, they were wondering
why the phones were so busy. Lets make them work during this slow time
of the year. Ha Ha Ha

> I was at Heronswood yesterday helping them out in the world of creating homepages. They have just finish their 1999 catalog and the press is printing them as I type. The neat thing which I found out about is the 2000 catalog. Heronswood has queried all the top name garden authors to provide a essays to support the year 2000 catalog. If I remember correctly, there will be 9 or 15 essays incorporated within the catalog. Of course all the essays are gardening related. I do know of two people who sign on to provide an essay... and they are Penelope Hobhouse and Rosemary Verey. I have to say, this will be one nice catalog. Here is another heads up issue, if you order your catalog within two weeks, it will only cost 5USD, after that it will cost 8USD. The catalog purchase price is good for two years.
