Dear Members,
The new Park Seed catalog arrived today, and among the many new offerings
that I covet is ipomea batatus Blackie (cuttings). Who among you northern
gardeners have grown this plant? Can you winter it over? This is one plant
that will probably not be available locally (I live in the real boonies, 70
miles from anything, and though there are some excellent nurseries in the
area, they can't afford to stock much more than the ordinary stuff}.
