Sounds awesome. Share with us when you get
more info or a source.
I have to admit I was disappointed in my alium
"showing" last spring, all except scarcephalum (?)
(drum stick, burgandy/purple) and christophii (large
lavender heads). Most of the rest of the types I
planted didn't come up (after fall planting) or did too
poorly to mention.
Can any experts out there tell us about their
successes with the various alliums and specifically
what conditions they thrive in?

For mine is just a little old-fashioned garden where
the flowers come together to praise the Lord and
teach all who look upon them to do likewise.

Any one heard of Allium thumbergii *Ozawa'? If so
could you please tell me
something about it and how hardy it might be.
This is the description I have right now:
'"Glowing, bronze-pumpkin fall foliage and 2"
round, bright purple flower
clusters. Blooms over a long period in fall and
takes quite a lot of frost"
I can't seem to find the plant in any of the info I
have-limited as it is.
