I have pretty humus soil rich in organic matter which I do not over water.  I
only water when I initially set plants in and if there has been no rain.  It
is located in a sun shade spot.  It gets plenty of light about 2 hours direct
sun.  It grows rather tall after a while so it is towards the back of the bed
but not originally.  Until it became more established I had it near the front
of the bed.  Chris zone 6
