The most popular Shasta (Leucanthemum maximum) at the nursery is 'Brent Lewis'. It has unusual, jagged, cut petals, giving it an airy, sort of lacy apperance. Graceful, more so than all the others. Also 'Christine Haageman', new in this years catalog, came in second with full heads of rounded petals and a nice crested center. Taller, and more useful for cuts than 'Ester Reed'. If anyone would like a 99 catalog, please send your address and I'll put you on the mailing list. The catalog is set to go in the mail on January 2nd! Also I'd like to take the opportunity to announce the "sprouting" of our new website which is active now, with an announcement only showing, but will be operational in early to mid January, with search and ordering capabilities. The whole catalog will be online, and the exciting part is it will be updated wih new additions and sold out plants deleted so you can place an order for the latest plants according to availablity. We are very excited avout it! Thanks, Pamela West @ Woodside Gardens www.woodsidegardens.com
