While many worthwhile books have been suggested on this list, I would
like to insert a humorous suggestion here.
'Mama Makes Up Her Mind" by Bailey White is a selection of short stories.
A few of them deal with gardening. And most gardeners will find them
hysterically funny. Before you get carried away with the idea of a
wildflower garden, I strongly urge you to pick up a copy of this book at
the library or a bookstore. It is a reality check!
