*A new Texas A&M Web site features native plant expert Benny J.
Simpson and his research with native trees. More than 780 photos of 227
species can be seen at http://dallas.tamu.edu/native/ Simpson, who died
suddenly nearly 3 years ago, left a vast legacy of native plant research and
slides, some of which never before had been seen except by a few close
friends. The Web site was put together by Wayne Mackay, research
horticulturist at TAMU-Dallas, and Dallas Arboretum plant curator
