I have corydalis elata in my yard. I've had it for 2 years I think. It's
very happy where it is. It is a small climber I think. Mine's about
3-1/2' tall, but it twines around things. I made a little bamboo teepe for
mine that needs to be taller. In 2 years it has doubled it's width. I
think I could safely dig root cuttings if I wanted to. I have it in a
grove of pine trees that only gets a few hours of morning sun. I think it
would be considered dry shade.
