I hve overwintered gloriosas by bringing the pot into an enclosed porch that
has heat kept on just to about 35 degrees. I guess an unheated garage would
also work. The soil should be damp, but only slightly. You don't want to
rot the bulbs. I have kept them going for about 3 or 4 years now. Aren't
they spectacular in bloom? I always use them in 4th of July bouquets
because they remind me of fireworks. Also use blue agapanthus in the
bouquets and love the raves they bring.
