Anybody know Drew Sherrard?

A friend is writing an article about Elizabeth Lawrence for The Daffodil 
Journal.  He has come across a reference to a garden writer named Drew 
Sherrard who wrote a newsletter called Trowel and Typewriter.  From the 
references, she may have been froom the Portland area.  Does anyone know of 
this writer and whether she is still alive?
