Hi, Sorry to be away so long. Moving house and business and
getting started up again over the past 7 months has taken my
attention from the lists. I'm glad to hear that Heronswood is coming
up with the picture goodies via you Chris.
I need a little help. I'm seeking keen gardeners in the Southern
U.S.States, say south of 37degN who are prepared to try growing
our delphiniums and report on their success or otherwise. All seed
will be free and I can provide constant growing advice and
discussion. Between 50 and 100 plants would need to be grown over
at least a two year period, hopefully three, after first being raised
from seed in flats. The object is to see if we are making any
progress with trying to extend the tolerance of these plants to
southern USA conditions.
I hope to find ten gardeners overall to give the test a little validity
I am also seeking information about Day Lillies. Does anyone on the
list grow these from seed?
Best Regards
