The Tamari (also seen spelled as Temari) series of verbenas make great
container plants too. They like rich loose soil and lots of sun. I
particularly like the red one and I tried the burgundy one this past summer
and it was great too. As far as I know, these are registered plants, so no
seed is available. And they are annuals here in Cincinnati Z6a. Four plants
covered a 4' x 10' bed in four months year before last. The same is not true
of the Tapien verbenas which hit the market at about the same time. I
believe these are all Proven Winners plants.
