Re: combination trailers
Bob
I usually plant nasturtium seed every year and have extremely good luck
with them. that's something I can't say for some of the other seed .
gotta tell everyone this, I planted 4 hollyhock seed yesterday and
have them on a sunny window seal "praying" my experience with the
hollyhock is a running joke to the list. I'll bet I plant a zillion
seed every year, and right now I have one (1) plant living. it's a
mystery to me.
let me share this with the list, if I may: I got this information
from one of my Southern Living magazine some time back and saved it.
TIP OF THE MONTH
before planting tiny seeds, spread them on a baking sheet, and press a
wet piece of string over them; the seeds will stick. Then stretch out
the string, place it in a shallow planting trench in your garden, and
cover with soil. Few seeds are wasted, the string eventuallly
decomposes, and the seeds come up in a straight row.
I thought this was a neat idea, but haven't tried it yet, but I will
this year with a package of seed named Lobelia "crystal palace" the
seed are so tiny it's a good choice to experiment with
