Al, I suggest you check with the California Rare Fruit Growers
(www.crfg.org) if you really want to know.  They have kiwi experts, one of
which is Roger Meyer who sells hardy and fuzzy kiwi plants and fruits in So
Cal.  He often takes a while to respond to email, but his email is
