The hoya in my kitchen window is blooming it's head off and apart from
that, nothing's blooming but the bloomin' snow. Actually I really like
snow. Unfortunately, it arrived horrifically late this year. We had
virtually no snow cover during the deep freeze (a week of -20 C) in
January, and I can't bear to think what it's done to my beautiful
garden. I'm most anxious about my poor little 3-year old heathers -
they were just starting to settle in ... Now the temperature is a more
seasonable -10 C or so and we have snow coming out our ears.
