RE: Signs of life

After feeling blue because there are people out there buying live plants, I
decided to poke around the ol' yard yesterday. I could see the beginnings
of daffodils and some early tulips. The foliage for my crocus is looking
fresh, too. I also saw the larkspur seedlings scattered here and there.
The oddest thing yet is that I have about ten feverfew plants that have
stayed bright green all winter long. The mornings that have had frost or
snow wilted them briefly, but they've always bounced back by the end of the
day. I've never known these to be so hardy and they are not in sheltered
locations.

Note to Gene Bush: an order is coming your way! I've been trying to reach
you re anemone 'Vesta', but if you can ship out TB iris, I'm in heaven.
