It's almost that simple, but not quite. Believe it or not, there is a top
and a bottom to these guys. Look for a faint circle--that's up. If you
can't make make out a circle, plant them on their sides.

I find that they get a little tired looking in the heat. Since they
tolerate some shade, can you plant them in a spot where they are shaded
during the hottest part of the day?
