Van B.'s a bit pricy on bulbs and they have good quality, but I would not
waste my money on perennials. They are usually dried up or barely alive. You
can get just as unusual stuff from places such as Plants Delight, Carroll
Gardens, Joy Creek in Oregon and Heronswood and get quality plants as well.
VAN B's customer service has improved. It used to be as slow as a snail. One
time I got a nasty collection letter from them over a disputed bill ( I had
sent the money and had a canceled check). When I do call now they are much
more nicer to deal with.
