Hi Frank,
Well, I think it's officially spring in our garden because the
adonis in the east raised bed is IN BLOOM! This year there are four
gorgeous brilliant yellow blossoms open as of this morning and 2 or 3 buds
(i.e., the most bloom we've ever had on this plant).
Also, white and pale cream species crocus are blooming in the south
lawn and snowdrops in the fern bed, ash bed, and oak bed. There's even an
anemone blanda almost ready to open up. This must be an unusually early
spring in Illinois...
