Hi Paul,
See you have your 2000 list up. Would like to "do" your nursery for
this coming weekend if that is OK with you (I hope).
Wonder if you have slides of the list I have at the end of this
message? If you have them, but don't have them scanned, would be
happy to do this for you and make the images any size you'd like so
you can use them on your web site. I am limited in the size image I
can include in my articles by the Suite's format, but I can save at
any size and put them up in a directory on the web where you can go
snatch them for your use. I know you have some up - lots of astilbe,
but they are quite large and, no insult intended, a tad on the grainy
side. I'd need to reduce them for use in the article and they
wouldn't reduce well - would lose more data.
Matter of fact, if you have slides of plants that you'd like scanned,
but haven't been able to get around to doing, I'd be glad to help you
out - within reason...can't do 100 of them:-) But up to 25 or so I
could do for you including any of the list below which are plants I
would like to feature in the article....readers like to see the plant
I'm talking about, I've found.
I can snatch some of your hosta from the garden photo section - those
are good scans and will reduce for me without losing clarity - tried
Seadream and it worked fine. BTW,
http://hardyplants.com/shadegoild.JPG only transmits the top part of
this photo - won't all download to either of my browsers...
Let me know, will you? If you have slides and can put them in the
mail so I'd get them by Friday at the latest, would be good.
Generally spend Saturday night scanning so I can write on Sunday and,
hopefully, put it up Sunday in the wee hours. If I don't make that,
I have absolutely got to have it up before midnight west coast time
on Monday night:-) I'm always cutting things rather fine...

Also wonder if you can tell me a bit about the nursery - like how you
got started and how long you've been in business...don't find an
'about' section on your site and like to be able to give a bit of
background...anything you feel you'd like to share - doesn't have to
be a long diatribe, but something would be nice. You don't put out a
print catalog, do you?
Sorry to bother you as I realize you're busy as a cat on a hot tin
roof, but need to get my ducks in a row here:-) BTW, the soil in
your beds looks heavenly - that black Midwestern soil...looks like
you've added grit..is that what I see?
