Yes we do. Multiple crowns form and position themselves above the soil,
sometimes flopping over or opening in the center and looking floppy.
If your heuchera has multiple crowns, divide in the early spring, as soon as
you can work around the plants. If you want a larger clump plant several
crown in a circle a few inches apart.
I have always found this to happen with some cultivars growing higher and
sillier loolking out of the soil than others. I have two very small rock
garden sorts that are OK for years. the larger ones need dividing. I cannot
remember the rock plants names but they are part of a series of very small
and floriferous heuchera - sorry snow on everything.
