Thermals, top & bottom, thick jumper, heavy trousers, 2 pairs of socks
a waterproof/windproof jacket, woolie hat, 2 pairs gardening gloves, and
either old walking boots or wellies depending on the weather.
I either love my allotment, even at this time of year in North West
England, or the men in white coats are on their way......
