Claire is very right that they are slow ones to grow- I guess that's why they 
are long lived?

I need more space!  I have hard choices to make every year-do I plant a Peony 
in the new spot or put the gas plants in?

By the time I make the choice there's a sedum growing in the spot and catmint 
begging to be planted there too.

You know you have problems when the catmints start begging!

so i have added a few new catmints this year and maybe the gas plants will 
have stay in the pots.
