Re: Munchkin Nursery plant photos online

Hello Nancy,
Me too! That is how the Hakonechloa came to be in the nursery. I finally
got around to planting 3 different ones in my garden last year. I used the
"plain" green, the white variegated, and the yellow variegated. Placed them
up along the cliff edge in the rocks so that, hopefully, they will be like
water flowing down between and over the rock ledge. Will be a while before
it looks like much as I could not locate good sized starts at any price
around here. The ones coming for the nursery are larger than the ones I
purchased retail.
Also got into some of the better variegated Sedges in the dwarf size
range. Ones that perform well in dry shade. Have some of those up in raised
beds beneath shrubs and they are looking good now. Bright, shinny-green and
white striped with hepatica blooms beginning to form next to them.
Began garden clean-up yesterday afternoon... so many little noses just
now poking above the soil line. Won't be long now before the Anemone
nemorosa are up and in bloom.... love those little gems....
