I received a newsletter from Seeds of Change and this is what they said about
irradiation--it confirms what I have read about irradiation of the mail.
MAIL IRRADIATION UPDATE
Many of you have contacted us concerning the irradiation of the US mail
and the possible effects this could have on seeds and other plant
materials. We have been following this issue closely and we are
confident that our seeds are not being irradiated in shipment. The
latest information posted on the Postal Service website states
"Currently, the only mail being irradiated is destined for specific
government offices in ZIP Codes 202, 203, 204 and 205." We will continue
to monitor the situation and take appropriate measures to insure the
safety of our seeds If you have any questions regarding this issue feel
free to email us at g*@seedsofchange.com or call us at
1-888-782-7333.
