That first one got away from me a little early:


I hate tags and labels in the garden myself-but when one has a lot of 
different things that one cannot keep in the mind (less and less each year it 
seems) you need some way to know what you have.   

I use a 1/2 or 3/4 inch wide white PVC piping, works great if you need a lot 
of room to put down the name of the plant-were it came from and when you got 
it plus any other notes you need-cut the pieces about 10 inches long and 
stick them in the ground all the way.  The plants cover the pipes and if I 
need to go back and see what I have planted- I have just to retrieve the 
pipe.  With a nursery marker they have last 15 years so far.


i nee a new key board, this one is dropping to many letters.   like were are 
y "m"s and "d"s
