HI Gang,
Just my two cents....
I use See-Fine Markers - they come in a variety of lengths, 13, 24
and 30 (may be others too) and have a large area to write on- to mark all
my daylilies and more than a few of my other plants. Plastic doesn't last
here in the frozen north and I just don't like the looks of the cut up
mini-blind method (they do last better than the plastic though).
I write the name of the plant, the hybridzer (for the daylilies and
the hostas) and on the reverse I add when and where I got the plant. (iI
also have all this in a database. If you can't tell, I used to do SQA and
mil-spec testing - I like data. )
I use a BLACK fine point paint pen. I found out the hard way that
red flakes.
