I can't speak from personal experience "yet," but I have ordered this plant as
well. It is available through Forest Farm Nursery in Oregon. I believe they
described it as "to die for blue foliage."

Subject: Mertensia and Dicentra?
I am full of questions this morning!
Thanks to all of you wonderful people/friends who have broadened my horizons
and planted lust in my heart, I have been shopping for Mertensia and an
ever-blooming Dicentra.
King of Hearts has been highly recommended but am wondering how it compares
with others being offered. So if any of you have any comments or experience to
share, I would love to hear from you. Including any recommendations where to
buy it from.
I have placed my order with Bluestone Perennials to take advantage of their
"buy 2, get 1 free offer." But I am disappointed they don't carry the
Mertensia (Virginia Bluebells). I have been searching the Net and am surprised
at the prices I'm seeing -- $10+ which isn't such a bad price but I want 3-5.
Do any of you have any suggestions as to where I can buy these more
economically? Or if seeds are available anywhere?
Thanks again for your help and Best Wishes to you all,
Barbara
