Susan,
In June, on the Master Gardeners garden walk, Marge Carney on Springfield
Ave. had a gorgeous "Briggs Moonlight that she planted in 1997, I believe.
Susan, we should call her up and ask her if it is still alive. It is very
possible that one of the requirements of growing "Briggs Moonlight" is
retirement without travel. It was in full sun with heavy bark mulch and had
no burning of the foliage. Daphnes are always rated as less hardy than they
really are because they are just guessing!
