Here is a description pinched from another list for those interested in
'Briggs Moonlight'

<<<> Has anyone seen the D. burkwoodi with the reverse coloration? If you're
thinking of 'Briggs Moonlight', I had it for three years. It's aVERY slow
grower. In point of fact it grows so slow, I don't even have
itanymore..........My original two plants came in 4" liners from a friend
that got a fewdirect from a Briggs Nursery donation to a plant auction. It is
reputed tohave come from a tissue culture mutation of D.' Carol Mackie'. The
reversevariegation ( reverse from D. 'Carol Mackie' ) is very strong and
distinct.Even though given the choicest, east facing location in about 1/2
sun, growth was almost non existent. An expensive, smelly, 'Subdue'
fungicidedrench ( for phytophthora; root rot ) was required every three
months tokeep it going. They struggled for three years and "bit the dust"
this pastsummer. If I had to guess, It might be that the variegation is so
strong, very little photosynthesis is able to take place. It also seemed
todefoliate quickly if over or under watered or stressed in any way. I had
noluck striking the few cuttings I dared to take. The cuttings alsodefoliated
even with a Wilt Pruf spray on the second batch. I grow quite anumber of
Daphnes in the same general area. As a contrast, D. 'CarolMackie' is about 6'
across and now hides the leaves with its extravagant, mid to late spring
bloom.'Briggs Moonlight' IS very beautiful and I don't mean to discourage
anyonefrom giving it a try just based on my experience>>>>
