Donna, As long as your lavender in L. augustifolia you should be ok in IL. I
think they must be selling 'Hidcote' as that is a dwarf form and is a popular
variety in this area. I once had a beautiful hedge of 'Provence' but that is
L.x intermedia and I lost it all one tough winter. My 'Hidcote' is looking
like it might survive this winter. Good luck. I've never heard of Spring
River but if it is a reincarnation of Spring Hill..watch out! Kathyz5
