Nancy, you're well ahead of us – sounds beautiful!
Still, I know better than to declare winter over. March always holds surprises.

It is not winter here in Tennessee. Spring Beauties, bloodroot, and the best daffodils I have ever seen. Large blooms, smooth surface, substance...beautiful. Now the cold will come back but I will enjoy the best hellebores and daffodils I ever remember seeing. Nancy

Hi Lil,
Nearly 2 months since that post. We've been getting record highs here in neIN 67°F! Colchicum are coming up, tommies blooming, too. Spent the whole weekend working in the yard. In February!!!

And the days are getting longer (I am an optimist)...spring is around the corner! If only the snow would go away!

At least here the sun is shining and the snow is sparkling. Of course it help that I don't have to go outdoors! Perfect day to wrap presents.
Have a great Christmas everyone, and peruse those catalogues carefully!

Here the air traffic are on strike on the 23rd of Christmas. People will worry about getting home or on booked holidays getting away. Rotters!!!
Merry Christmas and a very happy new gardening year to everyone! Kate
