Spring can begin in the southern US in Feb. or March, but at our latitude – 43 degrees North, 88 degrees West, we’re lucky to get spring by April!

Nancy, you're well ahead of us – sounds beautiful!
Still, I know better than to declare winter over. March always holds surprises.

It is not winter here in Tennessee.  Spring Beauties, bloodroot, and the best daffodils I have ever seen.  Large blooms, smooth surface, substance...beautiful.  Now the cold will come back but I will enjoy the best hellebores and daffodils I ever remember seeing.  Nancy

And the days are getting longer (I am an optimist)...spring is around the corner! If only the snow would go away!

Have a great Christmas everyone, and peruse those catalogues  carefully!

Here the air traffic are on strike on the 23rd of Christmas. People will worry about getting home or on booked holidays getting away.
Rotters!!!

Merry Christmas and a very happy new gardening  year to everyone!
