Hi Anthony, - The greenish stuff is likely algae - usually the result of
fertilizer in the seed mix(shouldn't be any), too wet, and/or not enough
air circulation. Usually not a problem for seeds that have germinated, but
can be a problem if it is established before germination - can stop soil
aeration.
