Muscari?
Crocus tommasinianum and Tulipa sperengi both seed around. (The latter
surprisingly on clay. Each year I marvel how the latter do so well at Erway
farmhouse on some of the heaviest clay soil i have ever seen. They seed
themselves everywhere. Mrs {almer from Erway provides Chilterns with seed
for them! ( She supplies some other seeds too) They flower after about
three years from seed and seed is meant to be a better way of introducing
them into the garden.

Some types of daffodil are more persistent than others. 
Ice follies, the white one is a good doer but Mount Hood the other famous
white is not very good.

What about King Alfred, now that bulks up quickly. Just to think when I
read my favourite Mrs Cran books she talks about them being Ten Guineas a
bulb when they were first introduced to commerce!

Heres one for you Mark! "St Patrick's Day" is slowly increasing,

I find that Tete a Tete and the others tiny ones dwindle slowly but
Waterperry hangs on in difficult places and it has a nice scent.

My N poeticus have been slowly bulking up over the past ten years .I
planted ten and one flowered the others were blind  in the first year but
now the clumps is gaining momentum :-) I had twelve flwers last year.

Alas my real favourite  "Salome" has no staying power at all in my garden.

OK, so I am a bad gardener and I probably should do more to look after them:-)
