spring - yeeha!


Hi all,

I just had to tell someone...

I was driving to work this morning and something caught my eye. I did a
double take and there it was, just sitting there on someone's front lawn -
a big, fat, gorgeous robin! Yeeha!

I checked my records just a couple of days ago, and we didn't have robins
in Chicago until about March 12 last year. I hope this guy brought long
underwear; winter's bound to at least tease us some more.

Please pardon my digression from perennials - hey, are robins considered
perennials? <grin>
