there is no daffodil known as rugosa. Do you mean the species Narcissus
rupicola? It is a miniature, just a few inches tall. I grow mostly the
modern cultivars and am not that knowledgeable about species daffodils.
Howeveer, a California grower, Nancy Wilson (6525 Briceland-Thorn Road,
Garberville, CA 95542) specializes in miniatures and species and issues a list
each year for $1. N. rupicola is not on her list from last year. Be prepared
if you find it, however; species daffodils are not all that easy to grow and
you may pay several dollars for a single bulb; Nancy's average price is $5.
You might check Brent Heath's Daffodil Mart, also. I don't have their catalog
handy, but a list of catalog dealers and addresses is at the American Daffodil
